About Eric Olson
Eric has served as a member of the Prince George’s County Council since 2006.
He is currently Chair of the County Council’s Transportation, Housing and Environment Committee and serves on the Council’s Planning, Zoning and Economic Development Committee and its Health, Education and Human Services Committee. He is also a member of the regional Metropolitan Washington Transportation Planning Board.
Eric served on the College Park City Council from 1997-2006. He previously directed the “Healthy Communities Campaign” for the national Sierra Club, has worked as Deputy Director of an election reform/voting rights nonprofit, and has served as a Congressional legislative aide.
He is married to Sarah Treado. Eric and Sarah are the proud parents of two daughters, ages five and one.
